He also has served in the Peace Corps, as an ESL teacher, and on a rural farm co-op. He holds a B.A. in English literature from Union College, and an M.A. in linguistics from Harvard University Extension. His family’s Golden Retriever, Barley, is afraid of water, mirrors, and cardboard boxes.

A bona fide business manager with an impressive background in international hotel and restaurant operation, private equity, and manufacturing, Houssam has a track record of successfully helping businesses grow. Drawing on her years of experience with small business management and non-profit community relations, Angela brings efficiency to Calypso’s daily operations. She earned her degree from the University of New Hampshire and supervises Calypso’s renowned intern program. A compulsive volunteer and stickler for organization, Angela requires that beds be made before anyone leaves the house.

Director, Business Development
A seasoned PR pro, Elizabeth combines agency expertise with an extensive sales background that deepens Calypso’s capabilities in Maine. She has more than two decades of sales experience and was inducted into the Guardian Financial Hall of Fame following her successful leadership. Although, this Hall of Famer was once caught by security breaking into her daughter’s summer camp.

A talented designer, illustrator, and photographer, Marc spent more than a decade as an art director and designer in the advertising industry in New York City before moving to NH for the fresh air. He holds a degree in graphic design from the Pratt Institute and has never been to a Chuck E. Cheese.

Kelsey Ó Ciardha
Kelsey is adept at applying her skills in web design, print design, and branding to meet clients’ communications needs. Before transitioning to design, Kelsey worked in magazine writing and earned a B.S. in journalism from Boston University. She’s also an oversized-dog enthusiast (the hyphen being critical).

With experience in writing, design and production, Carter is a valuable member of Calypso’s inbound marketing team. He previously worked in healthcare, public television and academia. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Carter received his B.A. from The Evergreen State College and moved out to the Granite State to get his M.F.A. in writing from the University of New Hampshire. He spends most of his spare time with a book in his hands and a cat on his lap.

Robyn’s background in business writing, database maintenance, and event coordination make her a valuable asset to Calypso’s writing team and the ideal project manager. Video and Animation Designer
Jesse expertly translates Calypso client stories visually, bringing his background in documentary filmmaking, non-linear editing, and branding and copywriting to bear on the agency’s creative work. He holds a B.A. in visual media arts from Emerson College. Jesse once hung out at Carly Simon’s house, where he ate yogurt and talked about healthcare.

She enjoys being immersed in culture as she travels the world and takes pride in her ability to find the best deal at Marshalls.
